Candid Portraits

   The difference about todays youthh compared to Rosenblums photographs is most kids/teeens are being enteratained by there cellphones, ipads, computerss, and game consoles. While in Rosenblums pictures the kids are playing outside. They didnt have what we have now!

Critique

Gordan Parks: Whats similiar in the photograph to the painting is that in both the picture and the painting they both look seriouse they are not showing any emotion. The difference in the photograph to the painting is there is an american flag in the background also the man is holding a broom and a mop and in the painting there is a woman next to the man but he is holding a pitchfork.

Dorothea Lange: This is similiar to what happened in the Middle East when America attacked Afghanistan, people in the Middle East put American flags in their windows. The day after Pear Harbor happened a japanese store owner put up a sign in his store saying " I AM AN AMERICAN" its the same thingg that happened in Afghanistan just that they used a flaggs and the japanese owner used a sign instead .

Eugene Smith:
By the picture showin it looks like coal miners lifees are pretty dirty in the picture theree face is dirrty they  probably go along time without washing theree facess . i think the picture was posed. it looks posed they shouldve tooken one were they were off guard like if they were working it wouldve looked more believable and it wouldnt have looked posed.

Mary Ellen Mark: The family in the picture look depressed the dont show no emotion what so ever there not smiling, they look sad. they look like they could be homeless. The mans relationship with the woman is he looks like he cares about herr hes hugging her but she looks like she doesnt even care she shows no emotion if it was another couple the woman wouldve been smiling or showed that she cared. The relationship with the kids is the same as there parents they look sad i can tell because of there facial expression.

Henri Cartier-Bresson I think that people werent as patriotic as they were back in the 1940s , in the picture of the lady having the american flag around her neck that shows that people were being patriotic backk thenn .But now you dont see nobody having the american flag around there neckk . I am not patrioticc. Countries are being ruled byy a government not by people!
